We have specially made barathea and serge fabrics for the
Service Dress uniforms as well as the WW2 RAF Battle Dress
Uniform (BDU). Aertex fabric we already had and we dye our
fabric in-house, so making tropical uniforms was easy.

World War Two
(ww2,wwii) RAF,RCAF and RAAF Battle Dress Uniform ( Or Suits,
aircrew): This
uniform was also later called the War Service dress (difference
being in the internal field dressing pocket on the trousers) and
is made in blue-grey serge NOT MELTON (dark blue
for RAAF). We provide a cotton twill lining and brass
buttons painted black (steel buttons painted black in the case
of RCAF). The trousers have two slash pockets in the
sides, a flap pocket in the front and two flap pockets in
the rear. Breast pockets have a concealed button and
titch-button snaps on the corner. The RAF also issued
Khaki BD's in Africa and Italy and these too are available.
Please specify while ordering. As a set the jacket and
trouser are designed to button together at the waist.
Price for just the RAF/RCAF/RAAF Battle Dress Tunic is US$
