Our world war two (ww2, wwii) German
Navy - Kriegsmarine - uniforms collection has U-boat or
Unterseeboot uniforms as its focus. Our world war two
(ww2,wwii) German Navy Kriegsmarine collection has other
uniforms but U-boat uniforms seem to be by far the most popular,
though the most simple to recreate. We have replicated the
world war two (ww2,wwii) German Navy Kriegsmarine uniforms from
exact fabrics used at that time and have made dies for each and
every button used with these uniforms. The field grey
leather used in Kriegsmarine U-boat uniforms was difficult to
replicate but it has been done, using exactly the same
techniques as used during that era.

shirt:
The German Navy Kriegsmarine U-boat CPO, PO and ordinary seaman
dark blue wool pullover shirt comes with dark blue flap collar
including the Keiler Kragen ( 3 strips of white tape running
around the edge of the collar). It has slit cuffs with
gold painted buttons and the front is closed with 2 blue cords.
The Kriegsmarine U-boat pullover shirt comes with
eagle-and-swastika emblem of gold silk on dark blue facing, on
right breast. Price

The German Navy Kriegsmarine U-boat SD pullover shirt is in
white cotton and has the eagle-and -swastika emblem of gold silk
on dark blue facings on the right breast. It has light
blue pointed cuffs along with 3 white strips of tape. Price

trouser: The
Kriegsmarine U-boat Service Dress uniform sailors trouser is
made in dark blue melton with a flap front. The legs
have a 60 cam wide bottom and are 2 cm narrower at the knee.
Pressed with front and back vertical crease. Price

Pea Jacket:
Also called the
Uberzieher in the Kriegsmarine. It is made in heavy duty
melton cloth and has two flap pockets on the skirt. It
comes with a double row of 5 gilt metal buttons with embossed
anchors. The gold silk eagle -on-swastika emblem on blue
backing is provided on the right breast. No other insignia
included. Price

Grey-blue drill uniform:
The Kriegsmarine Grey-blue drill uniform was the most popular
Unterseeboot uniform as a work dress. The
blouse is made in grey denim cloth and has pleated patch breast
pockets and a straight cut flap. The jacket is single
breasted and has 5 buttons. The blouse is a waist-length
garment and the cuffs on the blouse are slit with button
closure. The trousers are made in the same fabric as the
blouse and have a cloth belt with friction buckle. The
bottom of each leg has a button-down adjusting strap. Price including custom tailoring and door delivery is US$
110.

The Kriegsmarine U-boat canvas shoe has a composite sole,
brown/ochre canvas upper and are reinforced at the heel,
side and toe with composite material. The
Kriegsmarine U-boat canvas shoe is available in any size for US$
65, door delivered.

The German Navy Kriegsmarine uniform reefer jacket is made from
dark blue woolen doeskin. The Kriegsmarine uniform
reefer jacket is double breasted with open collars and lapels.
The German Navy Kriegsmarine Reefer uniform jacket has two
internal skirt pockets with external flaps and one internal
breast pocket on the left side without a flap. The German
Navy Kriegsmarine reefer jacket has a double row of 5 gilt metal
anchor motif buttons (buttons pictured below), the top
pair of buttons being set wider apart. The Kriegsmarine
Reefer jacket comes with gold bullion wire embroidered
eagle-and-swastika on the right breast, level with the top
button. The reefer jacket was worn with white shirt (US$
47 delivered) and black tie (US$ 17-delivered). The
trousers are made in the same fabric as the jacket and have
plain buttons, a fly front with button fastening,
buttons on the waisband to take braces, 2 side pockets and
a rear pocket on the right side. The
reefer jacket is US$ 146 including custom tailoring and door
delivery and trousers are US$ 74 including custom tailoring and
door delivery. Both
the Kriegsmarine reefer jacket and trousers when ordered
together are only US$ 199, including custom tailoring and
door delivery. The Kriegsmarine Reefer jacket comes with
the correct zinc cuff lace - please specify rank while ordering.
The Kriegsmaine Peak Cap, as shown in picture below is US$
56, delivered in any size including insignia. The
Kriegsmarine peak cap may be ordered seperately, please
provide crown size while ordering.

tunic and trousers:
The Kriegsmarine white summer uniform tunic and trousers are
made in 100% cotton drill fabric. The tunic has 4 patch
pockets with scalloped flaps and pocket pleats. The
cuffs are roll back coming to the mid-forearm. Comes with
gold bullion embroidered eagle-on-swastika. A set of both
trousers and tunic is US$ 155 delivered. The white peak
cap with insignia is US$ 56 extra. All prices include
door delivery and custom tailoring as per size chart. The
Kriegsmarine uniform white tunic comes with gilt anchor buttons.

The German Navy Kriegsmarine uniform Frock coat is made in dark
blue wool, is double breasted and is knee length. It
has a double row of 5 gilt buttons the top pair of which are not
fastened. On the rear are two blue pointed pocket slashes
with 3 buttons. The collar is open. Price is US$ 164
including custom tailoring and door delivery.

Schirrmutze:
Our Kriegsmarine peak caps or Schirrmutze are made in dark blue
doeskin with a band covered with a woven black mohair cap band.
The peak is in leather with a black leather edge binding.
The black chinstrap is made in leather and has the correct gilt
buttons with anchor motif. The caps come with gold bullion
embroidered tricolor cockade surrounded by oak leaves with
eagle-on-swastika on top. We provide a white cover
(US$8/pc) for summer use. The caps come without the wire
stiffner - as used by the unterseeboot crew on active service.
Peak caps are US$ 56/pc in
any size including door delivery.
As a special service we do embroider the peaks (narrow band of
scallops for Midshipmen and JCO's) and a wide band of oak leaves
for senior commissioned officers for US$ 10/pc extra.
World war two (ww2,wwii) German Navy Kriegsmarine Tropical uniform: The Kriegsmarine Tropical uniform is cut in brownish-tan 100% cotton drill fabric, is single breasted with 5 buttons and pleated patch pockets on the breast and skirt of the tunic. The pockets have a scalloped flap and buttons are pebble painted tan. A eagle-on-swastika in bullion embroidery on a tan backing is provided above the right breast pocket. It is worn with a tan shirt (US$ 56), a black tie (US$ 17). The tropical trousers have belt loops, 2 slash side pockets with button fastening and a fob pocket on the right side. The tropical trousers are US$ 74, and the tunic is US$ 119. A set of tunic and trousers is US$ 155, custom tailored door delivered.

It has two pleated patch breast pockets and loops are provided on the shoulder seams to accomodate shoulder straps. The Kriegsmarine uniform short leather jacket was used by engine room personnel (Maschinenpersonal), the jacket is mid-thigh length, single-breasted, 5 button closure and a stand-up Nehru style collar. The Kriegsmarine uniform short leather jacket has a single internal pocket on the left breast with an external flap, and two internal skirt pockets with external flaps. The Kriegsmarine uniform short leather jacket sleeve bottom has a leather strap with button fastening for adjusting the fit of the cuff. Please specify black or pale grey leather while ordering.
