UNIFORMS, EQUIPMENT AND GEAR:-
We have been making and supplying World
War two (ww2, wwii) German army Afrika Corp (Korp),
DAK - Deutsches Afrikakorps uniforms, badges,
equipments and gear through a number of dealers for quite a
long time. We are now offering our Afrika Corp (Korp)
DAK uniforms directly to collectors and re-enactors at
prices that make their hobby economical. Our world war
two (ww2, wwii) German Army Afrika Corp, Deutsches
Afrikakorps DAK uniforms have been copied from original
samples and we have, after a number of trial and
errors, been able to copy the fabric color and weight
exactly. Although the Afrika Corp (DAK) Deutsches
Afrikakorps tropical uniform varied widely in colour,
largely because of different manufacturers' batches,
length of use etc, we decided to copy the regulation
shades.

Dress M1940 Tropical Tunic:
Also called the Heer Tropical Fieldblouse, the
Afrika Corps (DAK) uniform M1940 tropical tunic is
thigh length, olive green, pleated breast and
skirt pockets with scalloped flaps, and 5 olive-green
pebbled buttons. The Afrika Corps (DAK) Deutsches
Afrikakorp M1940 Tropical tunic or felblouse has a
partial lining and a field dressing pocket located in the
lower right front of the jacket skirt. The Afrika
Corps Deutshes Afrikakorp (DAK)M1940 tropical tunic back
has a central seam and a center vent. There are belt
hook hangers on each side and 3 eyelets on each side to
accomodate the hooks. The Afrika Corps (DAK) M1940
Heer tropical Fieldblouse (tunic) comes without the
insignia but it can be ordered seperately. Price
including custom tailoring, door delivery anywhere in
the world is US$ 146. The Afrika Corps (DAK) uniform M1942
Tropical tunic is also available and it differs from the
Afrika Corp (DAK) uniform M1940 tropical tunic by not
having pocket pleats. It is available at the same
price as the Afrika Corp (DAK) uniform M1940 tropical tunic
- please specify while ordering. Our Afrika Corp (DAK)
Deutsches Afrikakorp tropical tunics comes with the correct
Waffenfarbe (piping on the outside edge of the shoulder
strap) - please specify branch of service color while
ordering. Some of the common ones are: white -
infantry, armor-pink, artillery-red, armoured
infantry-grass green.

Dress uniform Tropical Breeches:
The Afrika Corps (DAK) Service Dress uniform tropical
breeches are manufactured in two fabrics. Olive
green fabric cotton twill which is an exact replica of
the original, and also in olive - brown whipcord. The
Afrika Corp (DAK) Service Dress uniform Tropical Breeches are
cut full at the seat and thighs and taper sharply at the
knee. The Afrika Corp(DAK) uniform Tropical
breeches have slit calves which close by tie tapes. The
Afrika Corp (DAK) Deutsches Afrikakorps uniform Breeches have
a single hip pocket with button closure, a front watch
pocket, and two slash pockets in the front.

Dress M1940 Tropical Trousers:
The Afrika Corps (DAK) uniform SD M1940 Tropical
trousers are made in olive green cotton twill fabric
and have tapes to allow the trouser bottoms to be
pulled tight at the ankles. The Afrika Corps
(DAK) uniform SD M1940 Tropical Trousers have a fabric
belt built into the waist which closes with a buckle
(3-pronged buckles arriving shortly). Price including

Tropical shirt: The
Afrika Corps(DAK) Deutshes Afrikakorp uniform M1940
tropical shirt are made in light olive cotton drill,
it is a pullover shirt with 4 small plastic buttons.
The Afrika Corps (DAK) uniform shirt has long sleeves and
two box-pleated patch pockets with pointed flaps. The
Afrika Corp (DAK) uniform M1940 tropical shirt comes without
shoulder straps but inserts for them are provided in the

The Afrika Corps(DAK) uniform M1940 standard tropical
greatcoat is made in deep chocolate brown wool, in
same pattern as the continental version with two rows of six
field-gray buttons, a back half-belt secured by two
buttons, turn back cuffs. The Afrika Corps
(DAK) Deutsches Afrikakorps M1940 Standard Tropical
overcoat comes without insignia. Price

These were normally privately purchased by the officers but
we have replicated these down to the smallest details.

Officers' Tropical Overseas Cap: Also
called the feldmutze and has a silver braid piping - largely
worn by armoured corp officers. The Deutches
Afrikakorps feldmutze comes with EM Eagle and EM
Reichskokarde. Has scarlet inside lining and eyelets
on both sides. Price including custom tailoring and
door delivery is US$ 35. For EM's the cap is available
without the silver braid for US$

Also called Afrikamutze, the Afrika Corps (DAK)
uniform Tropical Field cap are made in olive -green
twill with full size tropical visor with top seam and
correct tear drop back. The lining of the cap is red
poplin and the crown is vented by two metal eyelets on each
side. The Africa Corps (DAK) uniform Tropical field
cap (Afrikamutze) comes with eagle and cocade. Price
in any size and door delivery is US$ 35. Price of
Deutsches Afrikakorps Afrikamutze includes the
"inverted V" Waffenfarbe piping.

Also called Troppenhelm. Our Afrika Corps (DAK)
uniform Tropical or Pith helmets are being made
from the actual "pith" not cork and will be covered
in olive twill fabric exactly like the originals.

THe Afrika Corps (DAK) Anklet (leggings or gaiters) come in
correct green color with drill lining on the top half.

Titles (Armelstreifen):
Basically we have come across two cuff titles - please see
pictures below. Either is available for US$
20, hand
embroidered, door delivered. They are 33 mm in
width and both officers' and enlisted men wore the same cuff
title. These were worn on the left cuff of the uniform
or greatcoat - if you are ordering the uniform from us we
will be happy to sew them on for you.
The Deutsches Afrika Korps
(DAK) cuff title issued in 1941 was machine woven. We
can replicate these that way but it was not commercially
viable. So we
hand embroider them. Maybe, if we get enough
inquiries we will run a production batch on our embroidery
machines. These are in two shades of green with
silver-aluminium thread.
The second cuff title was
awarded to veterans who had served atleast 6 months in
Africa. It is in soft khaki green cloth with the word
"Afrika" flanked by palm leaves in silver-grey
cotton thread. The edging is silver grey russian
braid.

World War two (ww2,wwii) German army Afrika Corps (DAK) Bread Bags (Brotbeutel): Our Afrika Corps (DAK) Bread Bags (Brotbeutel) are made in olive green canvas with sand yellow webloops. Price of Deutsches Afrikakorps Brotbeutel is US$ 20, delivered. The Service Dress Tunic & Breeches of Field Marshall Erwin Rommel: I have recreated this uniform exactly for my friend Mr. Brunne of the US. Rommel's uniform has been recreated piece by piece and is correct in every little detail. The uniform comes without the metal insignia and shoulder boards, but with everything else. A perfect item for the collector. A picture of my friend is available in this uniform - a picture they say - is worth a thousand words. Please e-mail for price. The uniform has turned-back cuffs which reaches to the mid-forearm. The uniform tunic comes with a hand embroidered gold bullion breast eagle-and-swastika on dark green facing cloth on the right breast. The collar insignia are gold bullion hand embroidered on bright red facing cloth. Gilt buttons are used on all pockets. The breeches have the red lampassening of two strips of red wool fabric each 33 mm wide stitched along the outer leg, and positioned 4 mm on either side of a single line of of erd piping 2 mm thick set in the seam of the breeches. Uniform comes with brown waist belt and peak cap made upon request.
