Although Gestapo uniforms should come under the heading waffen-ss uniforms, I am making a seperate page for Gestapo uniforms specifically because of collector interest and requirements from other sources. The black service uniform of the Waffen-SS as used by the feared Gestapo cannot be rivalled for magnificence and is probably the most globally recognized uniform of the 20th century. The Gestapo black service uniform made it's first appearance in 1932, a point in time when the SS began to emerge as a symbol of Nazi power. The earlier difference between the SA and Gestapo -SS was obscured by both wearing brown shirts was corrected in the 1930's by the Gestapo adopting the black breeches, cap, tie and armband - a uniform which came to symbolize fear, terror and also respect of a different kind. Our uniforms are made in black gabardine though the riding breeches were often made in a tough and durable corduroy - which we offer as well.

Made in black gabardine, the SS Gestapo service unifornic
or Dienstrock comes with matt silver buttons, two exterior
chest pockets and two two interior side pockets. Collar is
piped with silver/aluminium gimp cord. Price
